What Is The Honey Like?
 
Golden Smooth Granulation.
ManukaUSA UMF® 16+ Active Manuka Honey is a light golden honey. It is specially handled to ensure it has a fine silky-smooth granulation. Granulation is a natural process of honey - to remain runny honey would have to be subjected to high heat and finely filtered. (But high heating destroys the hydrogen peroxide activity). Some honeys set to a very hard granulation; some honeys have a very coarse granulation. Manuka honey is a softer granulating honey.

silky-smooth granulation and all the natural goodness of the honey is retained.

Herbal Flavor
It tastes great! Our honey is a light golden honey with the unique herbal manuka flavour.

Try it Melted
ManukaUSA UMF® 16+ Active Manuka Honey can be enjoyed and used as it is straight from the jar.
It is also delicious after gently melting to remove the granulation. Heat gently (not above 37' C
which is the temperature inside the beehive) for as shorter time as possible. Be sure to stir
the honey so that the heat passes into the centre core.

A few days after cooling the honey becomes a very soft jelly which is characteristic of thixatropic honey. The honey has a delicious smooth soft caramel flavor.
